Intention

The intention for opening our facility in 2016 was to create an environment where students were empowered and able to train as much as they wanted without limitations.

Since day one we have ran our classes with the same approach and technical understanding as the best Jiu-Jitsu schools in the world.

We look forward to continuing to provide world class training to those serious about martial arts, fitness, and achieving their goals.

Facility

We provide a large training area of over 2000 sqft. plus full fitness area, spectator area and ample parking.

John Nicolichuk

Black Belt (1st Degree)

John started Jiu-Jitsu in 2007 and competed at all belt levels, placing within the top 3 of the majority. He spent extensive time training in some of the best academies in the world and has been fortunate to build relationships with some of the biggest names in Jiu-Jitsu. During his time at brown belt he was training over 40 hours a week which helped forge a future reputation for technique and the ability to coach all types of people.

As a black belt what interests him most is understanding the universal truths of martial arts and playing a small role in guiding one towards experiencing the limitlessness of human potential.

John was awarded the rank of black belt in 2018 from Jason Gagnon following the approval of the legendary Cobrinha (Rubens Charles Maciel); the most decorated Black Belt in the history of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

Jason Gagnon

Black Belt (2nd Degree)

Jason is a black belt under Cobrinha and a high level athlete who was ranked #2 in the world at adult brown belt (IBJJF) having won some of the most significant titles in the Adult category all over the world.

Jason is thought of as one of the best Jiu-Jitsu competitors to ever come out of Canada by having won or placed at some of the biggest tournaments at black belt in both the Adult and Master 1 division. Jason has recently started a new career as a police officer.
